Why Sound Deaden Dynamat Installation Manuals!

Installing Dynamat Hoodliner

Step 1: Add a Hoodliner
Dress up your engine compartment with a Stage 1 Dynamat Hoodliner. Its "Sound Soaker" foam absorbs engine noise, delivering a quieter listening environment in your vehicle. In addition, the Hoodliner's 1 mil. reinforced aluminized skin creates a water/oil barrier that reflects up to 97% of radiant heat to protect your paint's finish
Step 2: Apply Dynamat to the Hood
Stage 2 adds Dynamat Xtreme to the hood prior to the installation of the Hoodliner in Stage 1 Dynamat Xtreme is the only damping material recommended for car hoods and other areas where application must be upside down. Apply Dynamat Xtreme to the underside of the hood; you do not need to cover the hood ribs. Typical coverage requires two to three sheets of 18" x 32" Dynamat Xtreme.
Installation

Use scissors, knife or die to cut Dynaliner to the desired size and shape before installation. Next, remove dust, grease, moisture, and other foreign matter from the application surface. When used under carpeting, no spray adhesive is needed. For other locations, spray adhesive on the application surface and on the back of the Dynaliner. The simplest application technique is to bend the Dynaliner slightly and attach it along its shortest edge. Press Dynaliner firmly into place.
